Perusahaan tersebut sempat beroperasi dengan nama PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Co., Ltd. sebelum berganti nama menjadi PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk. pada bulan Juni 1998. Saat ini AMFG dimiliki oleh Asahi Glass Co., Ltd., PT. Rodamas, dan kooperasi. Perusahaan ini merupakan induk dari PT Auto Glass Indonesia (AGI) yang berfokus pada penggantian dan jasa reparasi automotive safety glass.
Produk utama AMFG adalah flat glass berwarna, reflektif, dan kaca cermin yang digunakan di gedung-gedung bertingkat dan sebagai bahan baku untuk industri hilir. Sementara automotive glass yang diproduksi perusahaan meliputi tempered glass dan kaca laminasi yang digunakan dalam industri otomotif. AMFG memperkenalkan proses laminasi safety glass pada tahun 1985. Produksi laminated glass dimulai pada tahun 1994. Position :
1. MT Quality Control
What you’ll be doing
- Supervise and manage the quality control process Guarantee product quality according to requirements
Checking the manufacture or production process according to the procedure
Check work plans and product specifications before and after the production process
Record inspection results by completing all reports, concluding work and entering data into the quality database
Collaborate with in and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
Advise ways to improve the production process Oversee the safe use of quality control equipment Reporting to Managerial level.
What We’re looking for
- Graduate bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry with Minimum GPA : 3.00
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production engineering or process improvement role
Having skills in Quality Assurance/ Quality Management System
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process optimization
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, have strong leadership and prove with leadership experience
Able to communicate fluently in English

2. MT Training
What you’ll be doing
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees on MT, Monozukuri, and Kaizen methodologies
Facilitate the implementation of Monozukuri and Kaizen principles across the organisation to drive operational excellence
Coach and mentor employees at all levels to develop their skills in problem-solving, process improvement, and waste elimination
Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for further process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training and continuous improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives
Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources to support the ongoing learning and development of employees
What We’re looking for
- Bachelor of Psychology with min. GPA 3,00
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably have experience in manufacturing or industrial sector
Extensive knowledge of People development, Training Need Analysis, Create Curriculum, and related stuff in Training and Kaizen
Strong facilitation and training skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as People / HR Development
Willing to work in Sidoarjo, East Java
3. MT Production
What you’ll be doing
- Monitoring and optimizing the production process to maximize efficiency and output
Identify and resolve production-related issues to maintain high quality standards
Collaborate with in and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed records of production data
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Contribute to the development of new products and production methods
What We’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacture Engineering, or any related field with min GPA 3,00.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production engineering or process improvement role
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process optimization
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (analytical method: RCA, WWA, Fishbone, QC7 Tools)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, have strong leadership and prove with leadership experience
Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Willing to work in shift in field jobs

4. MT Sales
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to promote our building glass products and services
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key customers and partners
Providing excellent customer service, expert technical advice and consultative selling to help customers find the best solutions for their needs
Representing in industry events, trade shows and networking activities to raise brand awareness and generate leads
Analyzing market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform product development and improve our offering
Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery
Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
What We’re looking for
- Bachelor degree from Engineering/Management/ Economy/ etc, with min. GPA 3.00
Proven track record minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the automotive industry
Strong understanding of automotive market, products and applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with customers
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address customer needs
Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Able to speak and write in English (Mandarin speaking skill is a plus)

5. Staff Production
What you’ll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of production teams to meet established targets and objectives
Monitoring production processes, identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal efficiency and quality
Providing leadership, coaching and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Implementing and enforcing health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
Analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless operations
Strengthen shop floor management system through good man power arrangement,

What We’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar team leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment
Must have Diploma degree (D3) on Industrial/ Mechanical/ Manufacture/ Electrical/ Mechatronic/ Chemical Engineering major with Minimum GPA : 3.00
Have a potential and experience as a leader (Able to lead a group)
Strong technical understanding of production processes, machinery and quality control

6. Staff Mechanical Maintenance
What you’ll be doing
- Performing regular inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors and other machinery
Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
Following standardized maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance planning and execution
Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations and procedure
What We’re looking for
- Diploma 3 graduate for Mechanical engineering (Senior high school/ Bachelor’s degree won’t be processed)
Minimum 1 year experience in a mechanical maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting (also open for fresh graduate)
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment and repair techniques
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and specifications
